"I started my nursing career in 2010 and have had the privilege to work in many facets of healthcare; however, I truly found my love for mental health in 2020 when I completed substance use training from Rush University in Chicago. I was doing family practice at the time and starting a medication assisted treatment program. In 2022 I began working solely in mental health and substance abuse medicine which helped me make the choice to become a dual certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner."

"My extensive experience in mental health comes from nearly 15 years in social work as well as my time in the USMC. My specialities are in suicide prevention and intervention, substance use disorder treatment, and ADHD mental health counseling.
I utilize a variety of modalities including CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), and ACT (acceptance commitment therapy) while practicing holistic person-centered treatment that addresses one’s overall wellness.
Whether you simply need to process everyday life, develop healthy coping skills to better manage anxiety or depression, or need help building a sober support network; we can work together to affect positive change and improve your life!"
